How far in advance should we book DJ?
For destination weddings in Istria, I recommend reaching out 8 to 12 months in advance.
This ensures availability of your preferred date and allows sufficient time for thorough preparation and coordination with the venue and other vendors.
For other types of events, availability is checked individually depending on the date and scope of the project.
What is required to confirm and reserve a date?
The date is officially reserved upon signing the contract and paying a deposit. After confirmation, consultations and detailed event planning follow.
How long does the DJ service last?
The duration is defined individually and agreed upon in advance. The offer is based on the planned duration, with flexibility if the event schedule changes later.
What type of music do I play?
My musical focus is on contemporary, elegant, and internationally oriented music including both international and regional pop, disco, funk, house, evergreen, and related genres.
Genres such as Balkan folk and turbo-folk are not part of my repertoire.
Can we send our own music or playlist in advance?
Of course.
After confirming the booking and reserving your date, I provide an online Wedding Questionnaire where you can share your musical preferences, favorite songs, and any special requests.
This allows me sufficient time to prepare and ensures that the music at your event fully reflects your style and your guests.
Can guests request songs?
This is entirely your decision.
If guest requests are allowed, they are discreetly filtered to remain aligned with your preferences, the agreed musical direction, and the overall atmosphere.
Songs or genres you have excluded in advance will not be played.
Do I offer predefined packages?
No.
Each event has its own dynamics, venue, and protocol, so every offer is created individually based on actual event requirements.
Can the DJ setup be moved during the event (e.g. cocktail outdoors, dinner indoors)?
The Essentials package includes one DJ setup at a single location.
Relocating equipment between different areas during the event is not included in the standard service and requires a predefined technical upgrade.
Will I personally be present at the event?
Yes.
From the first communication to the final performance, I am personally involved in the entire process and present at the event.
What equipment do I use?
I use high-end professional equipment in all offers to ensure top-level sound and lighting quality. The setup is always tailored to the venue, event type, and number of guests, with the goal of achieving clear, pleasant, and balanced sound, along with discreet and elegant lighting.
What if the event is outdoors and it rains?
For open-air events without a covered setup, the performance depends on weather conditions. In case of rain or conditions that may endanger equipment safety, the performance may be paused or canceled without obligation to adapt or relocate the setup.
How are travel costs calculated?
Travel costs depend on the distance from my base in Pula.
For events within 25 km, no additional travel costs are charged. For more distant locations, costs are defined individually and transparently within the offer.
